Root canal symptoms are generally the same amongst a wide range of people. These are as under:
A throbbing toothache that arises without the patient doing anything that is, the patient does not eat or drink anything that may increase the tooth sensitivity can be an indication of root canal.
If the tooth suddenly becomes too sore and pain arises while biting could indicate the need for a root canal. However, pain on biting may also be a sigh of a hairline fracture
Tarnishing or darkening of tooth is an indication of a problem with the tooth canal.
The pain starts form one tooth and then radiates to other parts of the jaw or head. A common example is, a lower molar (back tooth) causing pain that radiates to your ear on the same side, so as to simulate an earache.
Swelling of the gum may be observed in some cases. The swollen resembles a pimple and upon pressing releases pus and blood.
